EU Energy Union: A Pathway to Prosperity?

Wednesday 18 November 2015
5pm – 6.30pm

50 George Square · Room G.02
George Square · Edinburgh EH8 9JU

This event will discuss and evaluate the European Commission’s proposed European Energy Union. How feasible is the plan? What’s new and what’s not? What is the state of play? How can the interests of Eastern and Western Member States be reconciled – particularly in terms of energy security and geopolitics? What balance can/should there be between different kinds of energy sources (conventional v renewable)? What is the outlook going forward?
