This presentation will contribute to the emerging research agenda on the link between migration and development within the EU. Focusing on the external dimension of EU migration policy, this research dissects policy narratives pertaining to the increasingly noted intersection between migration management and development. In doing so, it builds on existing public policy literature to advance the understanding of EU policy-making regarding development.
