The Edinburgh Europa Research Group is pleased to issue its:
Call for Presenters
Semester 2 | 2015-2016
UPDATE: This call is now closed. We will announce our programme for next semester in the weeks ahead.
The Edinburgh Europa Research Group invites all those conducting research in European studies to present to the group this upcoming semester.
Europa RG provides a structured forum for researchers (students, staff, visitors and guests) to present their research and to receive feedback in a friendly and constructive environment.
Meetings are Wednesdays 5pm term time and attended by both staff and students. All are welcome. Presentations are usually between 30-45 minutes with time for questions and more informal discussion afterwards.
Presentations can be on any area relevant to European studies and from all disciplines. We have held events on such diverse topics as the Eurocrisis, European energy policy, EU competition law, the European neighbourhood and Britain’s position within the EU. More information on past events and past speakers is available on our website.
We welcome and encourage PhD students to present to the group.
If you are interested in presenting your work (particularly work in progress), contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please send us a (working) title for your presentation and suggest one of the following dates:
13 January ¦ 20 January ¦ 27 January ¦ 3 February
24 February ¦ 2 March ¦ 9 March ¦ 16 March
23 March ¦ 30 March
Many thanks and we look forward to seeing you next semester.
